Whales and Sharks Tour
The Whales and Sharks Tour is just a 2 hours from Cape Town, in the district known as the Overberg (‘Over the mountain’). This Cape region is known for whales, cage diving with sharks, exquisite rare fynbos, stunning ocean views, and the southern-most tip of Africa and we can show it all to you.
This is the region where whale-watching is at its best, from May to November. For the adventurous we can also take you to Gansbaai for an exciting adventure: shark diving.
Our Whales and Sharks Tour is best done in 3 nights as we meander through the towns and villages of Stanford, Hermanus, Gansbaai, Bredasdorp, Cape l’Agulhas (the southern-most point of Africa), Elim, De Kelders, and Betty’s Bay. Discover the thrills of diving with sharks, watching whales frolic just a few metres away, exploring caves, walking or horse-riding on a pristine white beach, 4×4 driving through a private nature reserve unlike any other, spending a night or two in a top-rated luxury lodge, horse-riding through fynbos, and much more. Visit the southern-most tip of Africa, see the rocky outcrop of Danger Point, visit picturesque villages..sit back and enjoy as we do the driving and the sharing!
An itinerary and quote to tour this region will be compiled according to the time you have available and once you have advised us of your interests. Between September and November whale watching will be of special focus. We can offer you a 5 star luxury accommodation tour or for the more budget conscious a 4 star tour – either way, this is an experience you will cherish.
